The difference between a rainwater inlet and a rainwater well:
Rainwater inlet: refers to the facility where the pipeline drainage system collects surface water, which is composed of a water inlet grate, a well body and a branch pipe.
Rainwater well: There are holes on its side connected to the drainage pipe, and there is a seepage pipe extending downward at the bottom, which can replenish rainwater to the ground and drain excess rainwater through the drainage pipe, slowing down ground subsidence and preventing the road from being flooded during heavy rain. There is also a basket in the well to intercept dirt to prevent clogging of the drainage pipe and facilitate cleaning.
Difference: Different uses. The rainwater inlet is used to collect surface rainwater and is connected to the rainwater well by a water collection branch pipe.
The rainwater well is set on the rainwater main pipe to collect rainwater collected by the rainwater inlet and for daily maintenance and cleaning.
