Production Process: Caprolactam Polymerization Method. Caprolactam, is polymerized to produce polyamide. The polymerization process consists of two main stages: pre-polymerization and post-polymerization. The polymerization reaction involves ring-opening, addition polymerization, condensation polymerization, and chain equilibration, accompanied by end-capping and hydrolysis reactions. The molten product from post-polymerization is fed into a pelletizing system, extraction system, and drying system to produce polyamide chips.
