Product Description

Cast iron grates are used to cover roads or deep wells in homes to prevent people or objects from falling. According to the material, it can be divided into metal manhole cover, high-strength fiber cement concrete manhole cover, resin manhole cover, etc.
It is generally round. It can be used for green belts, sidewalks, motorized lanes, docks, alleys, etc.

Ductile iron gully grating is made from spherical graphite cast iron (ductile iron) by machine moulding or hand moulding, flat top, without hinge. Very good quality, smooth and free from sand holes, blow holes, distortion or any othe defects. Loading capacity is 25 tons. We also have BSI certificate, also can put the kite mark in gully grating.
 
Clear opening size is 190X190/280X280/380X380/480X480/570X570mm.The normal coating is black bitumen 50 microns thickness, also can make the epoxy coating according to the customer's demand.

What is the difference between rainwater inlets, rainwater wells, inspection wells, and grates?

Stormwater inlet: refers to the facility of the pipeline drainage system to collect surface water, which is composed of an inlet grate, a well body and a branch pipe. It is divided into partial groove type, flat paralysis type and combined type.
Rainwater well: there are holes on its side to connect with the drainage pipe, and there is a seepage pipe extending downward at the bottom, which can supplement the rainwater to the ground and make the excess rainwater drain away through the drainage pipe, slow down the ground settlement and prevent the road surface from being flooded during the rainstorm, there is still a basket in the well, which can intercept the dirt to prevent blocking the drainage pipe, and is easy to clean.
The inspection well is used in the construction area (residential area, public building area, factory area, etc.) within the scope of the buried plastic drainage pipe outer diameter is not more than 800mm, buried depth plastic inspection well is not more than 6m, generally located at the drainage pipeline intersection, turn, pipe diameter or slope change, water fall, etc., in order to facilitate regular inspection, cleaning and dredging or underground operation of the inspection of the plastic integrated injection molding or brick well-shaped structure.
